remote history

Remote television was first developed by Zenith Radio Corp. in 1950, "Lazy Bones"-the trademark of the first remote-ad with the song "Prest-o! Change-O! Just Press a Button ... to Change a Station "in its operation still use the cable that is connected to the TV. Innovation is less acclaim from consumers at the time since the cable that ran between the remote and the TV often result in foot tripping (tripping ato flattered huh? Hehe).

In 1955 Zenith eliminates cables and replace them with light technology (Flashmatic), in which a beam of light / light emitted from the remote module for control cells contained pictures on the TV. Unfortunately the photo cell on TV are less able to recognize where the light coming from the remote and light coming from other sources, so sometimes when exposed to room light / sunlight, ato channel volume on the TV to move by itself.
